Sunday School for Children & Youth

CLASSES FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH beginning again January 7th:

  • PreK-K ClassRoom 213   Teachers: Lauri Buly, Debbie Krawchyk & Paige Baierl

Our youngest class will continue to use The Story for Little Ones bringing the message of God’s great love through attractive illustrations and simple text. Throughout the year, we build an overview of God’s story using 31 pivotal Bible stories.

  •  Grades 1-3 – Room 216   Teachers: Bev Shelenberger & Jennifer Green

Deep Blue: Learn & Serve!  Our kids will learn about God and what it means to be a follower of Jesus.  Students will engage in Bible stories, science experiments, arts & crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games with the goal of helping children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus today.

  •  Grades 4-6 – Room 118    Teachers: David & Stephany Bruckner

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis. This class listens to the “radio theatre” audio version of this classic story and engages in discussion and expression together.

  •  Grades 7-8 – Room 309   Teaching Team: Susan Karson & Diane Camlin

Over the next fourteen weeks, this class will investigate the answer to the question, “What is our salvation for?”  For the Life of the World is a quirky, DVD-driven study about God’s plan for all areas of our lives, including family, work, art, charity, education, government and recreation.

  •  High School Class – Youth Room   Teaching Team: Denise Scuito & Co.

This class meets in the Youth Room to talk about current topics and questions about life and faith. Not a set curriculum, the group will help determine the direction of future gatherings.
