Three-Part Screening of Fred Rogers Documentary Starts Nov. 10

Hello, neighbor! For three straight Sundays, Nov. 10, 17 and 24, Westminster College will show the documentary, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” during our church’s Sunday hours, 9:15-10:15 a.m., across the street at the Wallace Memorial Chapel.  This films in the highest-grossing biographical documentary of all time and it chronicles the life, lessons and legacy of iconic children’s television host Fred Rogers. Dave Newell, aka Mr. McFeely from the television show Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, will be at the Nov. 24 showing and he will talk about Mr. Rogers and his impact on the world. Dave will then speak on Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. as part of the New Wilmington Community Thanksgiving worship service at Wallace Chapel.
