September 8 is a special day at New Wilmington Presbyterian Church as we kick off the 2019-20 Sunday School year and other programming with an all-church breakfast. Join us in the Social Hall at 9:30 a.m. All food and drink will be provided and all are welcome.
Sunday School will begin the following Sunday, but other events taking place on Kickoff Sunday include:
- An informational meeting at 10 a.m. in the Ligo Room for members of our church interested in “adopting” a college student through Kirk, our college ministry program. Contact Dave or Tawnee Hunter at hunterfamily82@gmail.com for more details.
- During worship at 10:30 a.m., our Chancel Choir returns from its summer break and 3rd grade students from our church receive their Bibles.
- From 6-8 p.m., we will host a Family Game Night on the church lawn. Bring your favorite lawn game or board game and a snack to share. This will be the first our of “Second Sunday Fellowship” throughout the 2019-20 year.
