2019 All Church Retreat

You are welcome to join fellow members of the New Wilmington Presbyterian Church for our annual All Church Retreat, Jan. 25-27, at Life Ministries Castle/Sibley Mansion in Franklin, Pa.

This year’s theme is LOL (Live Out Load, Learn Out Loud, Love Out Loud). The facilitator/guest speaker is The Rev. Jim Mohr, chaplain at Westminster College. Events begin Friday evening and end Sunday morning and people can attend any portion they prefer or stay the entire time with overnight accommodations at The Castle.

Cost for the entire weekend is $55 for adults, $45 for school-age youths and $35 for college students. People can also choose to stay one night for $40 or commute on Saturday without staying overnight and pay $6-8 for each meal.

Click here for a registration form. (Hard-copy forms are also available in the church’s Ligo Room.) For more information, contact Kristen Phillips by email at forsbekl@gmail.com, phone 724.946.3749 or text 724.657.7497.

The Life Ministries Castle/Sibley Mansion is located at 870 River Ridge Rd., Franklin, Pa. More details about the retreat will be available during Sunday Worship as well on the NWPC All Church Retreat’s Facebook group.

The Sibley mansion is visible as you travel Route 8 between Franklin and Oil City. J.C. Sibley, who became prominent in the petroleum and agriculture industries, as well as politics, had his estate built in 1913 out of stones quarried on the farm.
